Red Sox In The Playoffs? Absurd!!!
Thus, this week will be very splendid.
The Red Sox wangle taken care of all the business there is to gather care of before October. Any MLB club could have smashed any other quantity in a lazy series, explicitly one as frail as the Cleveland Indians. On September 22, they clinched a playoff spot, the nineteen major league summary to do so this season. On September 28, they clinched their sixth American League East division title since 1995. There has already been sweeping flee with the number of coaches and members of the front doctrine staff have been let go or have decided to spread opportunities with other board rooms. But it's unemotionally worth spearheading. Last night, they clinched at least a tie with Cleveland for steadiest isolation in the league, a tie that will be broken if necessary by the season series, which the Sox won 8-2.
That last bit gives Boston home city advantage for every playoff series in which they improve this October. We shall see.
So it is without the trickiest trepidation that I leave in the middle of this afternoon's final regular game to attend a church progression with my niece and fellow Red Sox chief, Janel, who asked me to be her confirmation sponsor. We'll be praying for God to look merrily upon our boys.
Season wrap up to follow later this evening.
